Making a Difference in Orlando

The People You Teach Today Could Save a Life Tomorrow

Every student who walks out of your class is better prepared to respond when it matters most. CPR Certification Orlando has been putting those skills into the hands of Orlando professionals, caregivers, and community members since 2015. As one of our instructors, that impact is yours too.

What a Teaching Engagement With CPR Certification Orlando Looks Like

We run AHA BLS certification classes every week at our Orlando training location, including weeknight and weekend morning sessions. Corporate onsite training engagements are also available across Orlando and nearby communities like Winter Park, Lake Mary, Altamonte Springs, and Kissimmee. Class volume varies by season but there is consistent opportunity to teach several sessions per week, and for instructors who demonstrate reliability and professionalism we actively work to increase that volume.

Prior to each scheduled session, instructors receive class details and expected student count. Instructors are expected to arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled start time, deliver the complete AHA BLS curriculum, conduct hands-on skills assessments, issue certification cards to students who demonstrate competency, and submit a class roster upon completion of each session. Student follow up and any post-class concerns are managed entirely by our team.

All marketing, booking, customer service, card costs, venue costs, and administrative overhead are managed by CPR Certification Orlando. Instructors are never responsible for sourcing students, managing complaints, or covering operational costs.

A Fully Supported Teaching Environment

Building an independent CPR instruction practice from scratch requires significant investment in marketing, operations, and student acquisition. Many certified instructors who go independent spend as much time managing a business as they do in the classroom.

CPR Certification Orlando provides a fully operational infrastructure that has been refined since 2015. When you teach with us, you step into a running system with students already booked, classes already scheduled, and all administrative functions already managed. Your professional focus remains entirely on instruction.

This arrangement is particularly well suited to healthcare professionals, educators, and fitness professionals who hold AHA BLS Instructor certification and are looking for meaningful supplemental income on a schedule that works around their primary career.

Professional Standards and Requirements

We hold our instructors to the same standards we hold ourselves to as an Official American Heart Association Training Site. The following are firm requirements for all instructors who teach with CPR Certification Orlando.

Certification
Current AHA BLS Instructor certification in good standing, or current Red Cross CPR Instructor certification with demonstrated willingness to align fully with AHA BLS curriculum and protocols prior to first engagement.

Course Materials and Equipment
Instructors are responsible for maintaining their own current AHA BLS course materials and teaching aids in accordance with AHA guidelines. Instructors supply their own professional CPR training manikins that meet AHA standards for compression depth and rate feedback, suitable for adult, child, and infant training scenarios.

Conduct and Reliability
Punctuality, professionalism, and consistent delivery of the complete AHA BLS curriculum are non-negotiable. Every student receives the full course. Skills assessments are conducted properly and certification cards are issued only to students who demonstrate competency.

Transportation
Reliable transportation to our Orlando training location and to corporate onsite engagements as assigned.

The CPR Instructor Onboarding Process

Getting started is straightforward. Following your initial inquiry we review your submission and reach out within a few business days to schedule a professional alignment meeting. At that meeting we verify your certification credentials, review our class structure and conduct standards, and confirm payment terms. If the engagement is a good fit on both sides you are added to our scheduling system and begin receiving session assignments based on your stated availability.

The AHA BLS curriculum is standardized and fully established. Instructors who arrive with current certification and their own professional equipment are ready to teach from the first engagement. There is no extended training period or lengthy onboarding process.

This is an independent contractor arrangement. Instructors set their own availability, supply their own professional equipment, and operate independently. This is not an employment relationship. There are no set hours, no employee benefits, and no exclusivity requirements.

CPR Instructor Jobs Frequently Asked Questions

AHA BLS Instructor certification is the preferred credential. Red Cross certified instructors are still welcome to apply, but you need to be willing and able to align fully with AHA BLS curriculum and teaching standards before your first class with us.

You need your own professional CPR training equipment and current course materials. That includes manikins and teaching aids that meet AHA standards for adult, child, and infant training, along with current AHA BLS instructor materials.

This is an independent contractor arrangement, not an employee position. Instructors set their own availability, use their own equipment, and teach assigned sessions without employee benefits or fixed hourly scheduling.

Yes. CPR Certification Orlando handles marketing, class booking, student communication, venue coordination, and post-class follow-up. Your role is to show up prepared, teach the class properly, assess skills, and submit the required roster afterward.

The process is usually straightforward. Once we review your inquiry, verify your credentials, confirm standards and fit, and go over the engagement terms, qualified instructors can be added to scheduling without a long training runway.

Class volume varies by season and demand, but there is consistent opportunity in the Orlando market. Reliable instructors who teach professionally and communicate well are the ones we try to keep busier as class volume grows.

Payment terms are reviewed during the alignment meeting after we look at your credentials, availability, and fit for the engagement. That conversation happens before you are added to scheduling.
