The AHA BLS portion is the hands-on class led by a certified AHA instructor and results in your official AHA BLS CPR Card. CPR Training Paired With Supplemental First Aid Knowledge

Who This CPR and First Aid Combo Is For

The combo class is most often chosen by people who want the official AHA BLS CPR credential first and also want broader first aid knowledge in the same package. For most students, the AHA BLS CPR Card is the credential that matters most for work or school, while the First Aid portion adds useful emergency training for real-world situations.

How the Combo Class Works in Orlando

Choose a Combo Class Date

All available combo class dates and times are shown in the booking calendar above. Pick the session that works for your schedule and reserve your seat online.

Complete the First Aid Training Before Class

The First Aid portion is completed separately before class through video-based training. That means you get the added first aid content without extending the in-person AHA BLS CPR session.

Attend the Full AHA BLS CPR Class

On class day, your certified AHA instructor takes you through the complete AHA BLS CPR curriculum. You practice CPR for adults, children, and infants, AED use, choking relief, and team-based response skills using professional training equipment. The course is suitable for first time students and BLS recertification alike.

Receive Your Cards

After class, you complete the AHA BLS written exam and hands-on skills assessment. Students usually receive their AHA BLS CPR Card and CPR Certification Orlando First Aid card on the same day after successful completion. The AHA BLS CPR Card is the primary credential in the combo, while the First Aid card is a separate training card issued by us.

What the AHA BLS CPR Component Covers

The AHA BLS portion of the combo is the same full hands-on course we run every week as an Official American Heart Association Training Site. It covers CPR for adults, children, and infants, AED use, choking relief for all age groups, and team-based resuscitation skills. Students usually receive their AHA BLS CPR Card on the same day after successful completion.

CPR for Adults, Children and Infants

Hands-on manikin practice covers all three age groups with real-time feedback from your AHA instructor. Adult, child, and infant CPR are all required parts of the curriculum and all are assessed before your card is issued.

AED Operation

You practice hands-on AED trainer use including device operation, pad placement for adults and children, and integrating AED use into ongoing CPR without losing compression rhythm.

Choking Relief for All Age Groups

The course covers back blows, abdominal thrusts, and the transitions between responsive and unresponsive victim management for adults, children, and infants.

Team-Based CPR Response

Team CPR scenarios cover how to coordinate with other rescuers, rotate compressions, and manage an AED simultaneously during a resuscitation effort.

Official AHA BLS CPR Card

Students usually receive their official AHA BLS CPR Card on the same day after successful completion. That is the primary credential included in the combo class.

Widely Recognized for Work and School Requirements

AHA BLS certification from an authorized training site is widely recognized and is often used when employer, school, licensing, or accreditation requirements call for a hands-on CPR credential. In many settings, that includes healthcare employers, Joint Commission-related expectations, OSHA-related workplace needs, and Florida licensing-related requirements.

The CPR Certification Orlando First Aid component is separate. It is not an AHA course and should not be treated as equivalent to the AHA BLS CPR credential included in the same class.

What the CPR Certification Orlando First Aid Component Covers

The First Aid portion of the combo covers common injuries and medical situations people may encounter at home, at work, or in everyday public settings. It adds broader emergency training beyond CPR, but it is separate from the accredited AHA BLS CPR credential included in the same class.

Bleeding Control

The First Aid component covers recognizing and managing external bleeding, wound care, pressure application, and identifying when an injury requires immediate emergency services.

Burns and Scalds

Students learn to identify burn severity and the appropriate first response for minor thermal injuries before professional medical care is available.

Sprains and Broken Bones

The course covers first response for musculoskeletal injuries, including immobilization, elevation, and recognizing signs that require emergency care.

Stroke Recognition

Students learn the warning signs of stroke using the FAST method and the appropriate steps to take while waiting for emergency services to arrive.

EpiPen Use

The course explains when and how to use an epinephrine auto-injector in response to a severe allergic reaction and what steps to take while waiting for emergency services.

CPR Certification Orlando First Aid Card

Completion of the First Aid component results in a CPR Certification Orlando First Aid card issued by us. That card is separate from the AHA BLS CPR Card and is not issued by the American Heart Association. It should be understood as added training paired with the accredited AHA BLS CPR Card, not as an equivalent credential.
